I don't follow basketball.

Why are you deflecting from Alabama losing to LSU in football?

That could explain it bc Jefferson was ready to play from day 1.

Also consider LSU was cherry picking top Houston talent big time, but Jimbo really owned Houston this cycle.

I'll take a 3 Star with Desire and Heart , over the pre-hyped 5 Star with his Handout

Why do people so easily forget 9-1 last year and beating Bama with a backup QB this season?

You just choose to discount that, but doing so explains why you are confused.

Maybe under Miles but Orgeron hadn't really hit Texas as hard.

The 2019 championship team had like 6 Texas players total and one was the kicker.

Yeah but those six were probably difference makers

Haven’t double checked, but I mean that as a compliment

Only like two were starters (outside of the kicker).

You want to brag about the year Covid won everything? 2020 is forever an asterisk in all sports. No one in the stands. Schedule changes. The year a 7 win team plays for a championship? 2020 was a participation trophy for the whole year. No player lost a year of eligibility. No one should ever brag about 2020.

You went 8-4 the year you beat Bama. Losing to LSU in the last game where the head coach was gone. More than half the players had left. All coaches knew they were looking for other jobs.

Both Justin Jefferson and Clyde Edwards Helaire were three stars.

Jefferson's highest rating was a 3-star. Many had him as a 2-star.

And let's add Tyrann Mathieu to the list of 3-star recruits out of high school.
