The recruits only saw one number that was important. Score did not matter and neither did the wins. It was how many figures in that check are there? 6 or 7? That is all that matters to them. You think of any of them care about winning?
They probably will play like Aaron Brooks. Smiling after throwing INTs or losing bc they got paid.

The biggest recruiting tool A&M has is the money from the donors. What is hard to understand about that? Lol. The “9-1” from 2020 has ZERO effect on this recruiting class.

One of LSU’s worst teams in years beat Tam last year. LSU is clearly a better program between the two schools.

The next few years are going to be enjoyable watching LSU fans walk back their bravado. I’m sure the A&M is buying talk will be the talking point to distract from the disaster head coaching search that resulted in Grindin’ Kelly. Even retards like Stephen above won’t be able to put lipstick on that pig.

I feel a lot more confident in Kelly winning at an elite level than Jimbo. Kelly has proven he can win at every stop and now can recruit players that he couldn't get at Cincy or ND. Jimbo has been there 4 years and has a worse resume than Sumlin while being paid 2-3x his salary. You have to be a special kind of stupid to put your faith in that.

It’s pretty hard to go 4-8 at Notre Dame. That schedule is full of cream puffs and you get to recruit to a historic national brand. SEC teams get roasted for some weak arse non conference games. The 2021 Notre Dame schedule had 2 ranked teams on it if you count the bowl game. Kelly lost both. Compare that to the SEC where it’s a pretty good bet you are playing 2 teams in the top 5 and a slate of ranked teams in conference.
And to the point of this thread, if you think you are going to win to your expectations with 3 stars and losing top kids to out of state schools, then that truly is a special kind of stupid.
