So when Tennessee brought in Kiffin, Kiffin and Orgeron, all the LSU fans were silent?
When they bought Bryce Brown and Jansen Jackson, LSU fans said "That's just sour grapes, Orgeron is a great recruiter because of his personality"?

Well, to be fair, would we really be pumped about taking a coach from a team that has two conference wins (none against us) in three seasons?
I think the LSU situation is extremely rare, where virtually all the credit for a winning team's success is due to one coordinator, then them LOSING that coordinator in a lateral move to a division rival.
But I agree w/ your point that the fact that the subject is LSU isn't really what matters. It's the situation itself that's remarkable.

That's not at all the case. Just about every fan base gets excited for "next year". It's the manner in which a lot of LSU fans display that excitement that gets tiresome.

Of course. But Tennessee and Arky have been down for quite some time and have a lot of momentum that has built over the course of the last two seasons.
A&M just hired one of the best defensive coordinators in SEC history.
These are new, exciting things that have brought those fanbases out of the dumpster and into the light and their excitement is certainly understandable.

He impressed me big time, felt kind of bad at how we shite hard on him night of his hire. He didn't dodge one question with coach speak, answered every single one honestly.
We'll see how it goes, losing Chavis was big and Steele has a lot on his hands to fill the void.

Whatever happened to the good ol' fashioned "clap your hands" approach? Now, if you're happy or excited, you have to worry about what people are doing to your parade.
