Second grade means all the girls turn into bitches and the math is way harder. Who needs the aggravation?

We aren't saying you can't be excited, we're just laughing at you for doing so.

And yes, Aggie fans know A LOT more about Kevin Steele than LSU fans. Sorry if that upsets you.

Good to see your still the same shite poster you were on 4/27/11 when you were making tornado jokes. You're the biggest piece of shite on here. It makes me laugh knowing you're begging for approval. What a pathetic life you live.

Don't forget losing nap time. This whole forum could use a nap time sometimes.

That's what they're excited about? Three quarters of the fanbase wants to slice their wrists over the hire. How does anybody find a parade to rain on?

They think hiring Coach O will make it all better because he is a good recruiter and he talks like they do.

Edit: And the fact that according to a reverse Peter Principle Coach O is a perfect D line coach.

Indefinite time out would work even better. Of course, when I was in 2nd grade, it was spankings all the way. Spankings and off-brand snack cakes. Hmmm...there's an idea for how to handle the Rant there. I just need to find it.

They think Coach O will make Steele great because he recruits well and has the same ignorant coonass accent that they do.

Hmm. I might disagree with the sentiment, then. Hiring Coach O could actually be a good thing. It's part of the Saban approach of bringing in former HCs to lesser positions and allowing them to concentrate on one thing plus recruiting. I can see it working out for them. He should certainly help in West Coast recruiting. Bama basically hired Tosh for that very reason, imo.

It could be.

Hell Steele will probably work out too. He has Saban's approval. He is a better hire than Manny Diaz.

The fun is the dips of the rollercoaster, and not the big drop.

I was actually wondering if that was instrumental in them taking Steele. Either that or they're really obsessed with beating Bama and want somebody who was on the inside to help them game-plan.

I think so. We hear reports they target Kirby, and instead they end up with Steele? Les was determined to take from Saban's tree.

Well to answer the OP's question... y'all should be excited and fired up for next season. Hope springs eternal and all that stuff. Besides, y'all should have a good team.

We want an upbeat and ready to go LSU that thinks they can whip any NFL team that ever played. Sad, dejected, and whiny LSU... while fun to mock... is depressing as hell.

You are our Cajun brigade of party animals. The SEC depends on LSU to be upbeat in the off season. No one wants to play a sad sack team. An off season without piss balloons, tigerbait, and drunken stories about surviving an alligator attack would be boring as hell.

Ole Miss fans still got any of those "O The Coach" bumper stickers left?

Should we be that excited that we start sporting this bumper sticker on our vehicles?

That's not at all the case. Just about every fan base gets excited for "next year". It's the manner in which a lot of LSU fans display that excitement that gets tiresome.

Please shoot me if I don't get excited about the upcoming season and have a couple of wild arse predictions that might not be in the realm of reality. That's half the fun of being a fan. You take that away from me and I'm nothing more than a Vanderbilt fan.
