How can you NOT blame Nick Saban for Tuas injury?

It was 35-7 at the time the injury occured.
Miss. State had about 1% chance of coming back to win.
Tua was already hurting with his leg injury.
Nick needs to take some responsibility. He did the same thing to QB Matt Mauck in 2002 when coaching LSU in the LSU vs. Florida game. LSU was up 36-7 late in the game and he left him in and he got hurt. It makes no sense. The little man needs to man up and admit his mistakes but it's apparent he don't want to do that. Fire away. Sad day for Tua and Alabama and it could have been avoided by putting him on the bench when the game was clearly out of reach for that mighty Miss. State team to come back. Shame on you Nickie.

It’s obvious that you have never played a single down of football.

One simple reason, Tua is pretty injury prone/had quite a few unfortunate injuries. Saban also didn't force him, Tua as a student athlete could've said no more.

Damn it dude. We just rocked the Alabama fan base to sleep after crying and fighting all day. Don’t get them started again.

They were going to work on their 2 minute offense before halftime and Tua wanted to stay in.

I hope you get your hip dislocated.

You go with the odds and Saban didn't. He will pay for it the rest of the season now because he is hard headed and thinks what he says is the gospel. It is not.

Whether it’s fair or not, Nick Saban WILL take the blame for Tua’s injury. We were told all week he was hurt. He sat out practice. He had trouble walking off the field last Saturday. He did not need to play for Alabama to slaughter MSU. Nick Saban made the elective choice to play him when most people thought he should and would be held out. He was left in the game when the game was not in doubt, and he suffered a catastrophic injury. Those are the facts. So yeah, again WHETHER FAIR OR NOT, the people who like to point fingers will point theirs at Tiny Nick.

Easily , just choose not to
Lawrence and Fields both played in blowout games yesterday and the injury was not related to previous injury . We had 3 or 4 injured yesterday as did MSU. It happens
You ever heard of “coach speak “? Day to day and all that crap means nothing

Baseball, especially pitch count, is terrible to compare.
Tua seems smart and I bet he isnt the only student athlete that knows risk for reward.

Agreed. It's called Saban/Bama greed. It's really on Tua's family too. Especially having surgery on his ankles just so he can get back and play faster. Those bad decisions will cost Tua millions maybe even more. 7 national title games in 10 years wasn't enough for the Tide faithful or Saban.

Tua will never be a starting QB in the NFL.

Heard that reasoning. Question. Who needs more experience running two minute, tua or jones?
Would have been a great time to let jones get some actual game reps in two minute offense.

Tua’s season ending injury had nothing to do with his ankle. Had he reinjurred his ankle, I’d blame Saban. Tua was good to go, and looked fine during the game.
