It don't matter. As a coach you have the authority over your players. Like a pitcher on the mound who doesn't want to come out because he is competitive. It doesn't matter. You go with the odds and Saban didn't. He will pay for it the rest of the season now because he is hard headed and thinks what he says is the gospel. It is not.

It was 35-7 at the time the injury occured.
Miss. State had about 1% chance of coming back to win.
Tua was already hurting with his leg injury.
Nick needs to take some responsibility. He did the same thing to QB Matt Mauck in 2002 when coaching LSU in the LSU vs. Florida game. LSU was up 36-7 late in the game and he left him in and he got hurt. It makes no sense. The little man needs to man up and admit his mistakes but it's apparent he don't want to do that. Fire away. Sad day for Tua and Alabama and it could have been avoided by putting him on the bench when the game was clearly out of reach for that mighty Miss. State team to come back. Shame on you Nickie.

I love Direct TV EXCEPT WHEN THE FRICKIN WIND BLOWS OR IT RAINS!!!!!!!! Get ready to be frustrated. The only thing keeping me from getting rid of Direct TV is that I can record very easily any show on TV. I watch these shows when the wind and rain knocks out my satellite signal, which is pretty often.
