Last one for the day, I swear.
I'm really looking forward to making some away games in the coming years.

I have been impressed with how quickly A&M has thrown up such a major expansion.
I have lots of respect for the Texas construction industry.

When you pay to have them work through the night not really that shocking.

While true, I am pretty positive these contractors have to pay x amount of money for every day it's not completed on time. it works both ways and is why most projects like this work 24/7.

The difference is that the state of Texas offers incentive packages for finishing on time as well as has to offer far fewer rain delay days built into their construction schedules as the State of Louisiana does. When you add in the difference in soil types as well as the utility issues LSU had, it's not that surprising.

Only 8 lifts working on this section

Bitched about this before, but I really wish they didn't scrap the finishing on the south endzone.

They will probably put up graphic banners or something like that to dress it up a little bit, but, essentially, the façade for the south end is the Bright Building.

space is tight and angle of the endzone is not helpful.
Put up some 3rd in the SEC West banners.

I'd be down for a tied in 2nd banner.

Wait, so no cladding will be going up in the south...none at all?

It remains to be seen, but currently it does not look like they're going to clad it with anything.
I'm fine with it I guess, as it's not a real visible area.

I hope they they decide to put the cladding on, even if it's after this season. It just seems wrong to me, for Texas A&M to not put the finishing touch on one of the most historic renovations in sports. There's never been anything like this done before, and maybe never again.
You can't justify spending $450 million just to end up looking like this...
Auburn's Jordan Hare Stadium
Texas A&M's Kyle Field
