With teams like Houston, you gotta to dribble drive and force the refs to call the blocks and shoves near the rim. Alabama under Oats has a lot of success v. Sampson's Houston precisely because they relentlessly go to the basket.

Also, UF is going to need their bigs to pick up some slack and score some more points in the paint than usual. Houston is clearly keying up on the guards, especially Clayton. They are resolved to not let him take over the game. UF’s other guys are gonna have to score. They need to get more open looks for the one dude who has already hit some big 3 pointers

Houston’s D is such a breath of fresh air in a basketball world that barely teaches defensive technique. It’s hard to root against guys who give that much effort and preparation.
