Ole Ed is gone if he doesn’t win 8 games and he isn’t going to win 8 games so he is gone. Which means you can call his seat whatever you want but he’s gone.

Odom is safe if he wins 7 games. Looking at his schedule he will win 7 games and be safe.

Stoops is safe with 6 wins & I think with his schedule he’ll do it.

Vandy will be in the coaching market. No way they give him another year short of 6 wins and that’s not happening.

The only coaches that are vulnerable are:
1.Mason-I do not see how he survives
2.Coach O-has to win more than 8 games
3. Odom- do not think it will happen because of their Offense.
4. Muschamp- if he gets a better job.
5. Luke- safe until the sanctions are over.

Mason is the only one with much of s chance to get fired this year . Next year a few coaches will join him .

Haven’t googled NCAA financials recently?

If LSU is poor, I don’t know what the rest of the SEC is considering LSU is more profitable than all but 2 other SEC athletic departments.

Why is Barry Odom on the hot seat? Mizzou improved dramatically over the course of last season

They do not know what a good coach do when the early season went so bad due the DC being bad and was not what Barry wanted for his team. He sure turned Missouri around and made to a bowl game. Offensive coordinator left very quickly and did not coach in the bowl game. Barry Odom was able to find a replacement that I believe will be better than Josh Heupel. Missouri offense did not do well against better teams that have good defense. That is why he is going to be around for a while or a very long time. He is only going to get better. One knock is getting some very good recruits to play for him and Missouri. Winning does help a lot and need to continue to keep making bowl games and win 8 to 10 games from now on. that will bring in better recruits to Missouri.

I can think of 7.5 million reasons why it is Jimbeaux next year!! He has a little wiggle room this year, but just remember what Saban and Kirby did in their 2nd year! Didnt Stoops at OU pull it off in year 2???

Barry Odom is too low.

If they don't get off to a good start then he's gone.

I think Mason stays. I think Vandy knows he's a good coach but he needs more seasoning.

He is a defensive minded coach. He did hired Heupel because of his air raid offense. But that was not good enough to succeed just doing mostly that against good defense teams. Barry keep finding a good replacement of coaches when they leave or were bad like his good buddy Cross. He was bad fit for what Barry Odom wanted to run on the defense side of the ball.

Maybe, but he will keep his job because of the Offense this year. Locke will score enough points to keep them in games. Most coaches get fired when they get blown out.

I worry about Odom. They beat a bunch of bad teams to "improve" at the end of the year, and then replaced their OC with Derek Dooley

I have no reason to dislike Odom, I just worry that they aren't as good as perceived and the PC change will do him in. No clue how much good will or rope he has.

Mason might get gone too.

I'm not sure anyone gets fired this year, though
