The TOPS program has royally fricked the academic side of the University. Unfortunately, we don't have enough state-level politicians with the balls to fix or scrap it.

Almost reads like satire. Of course you want to hire coaches to win. That builds the program.
For LSU, I think Kiffen has proven he can do well in the SEC, which is huge. Will Wade, I’m not sure that he is a winner that some think he is. He’ll get wins, but I’m not so sure of Championship Contender. But, the goal might be to be a consistent NCAA Tournament team, which I think he is capable of.
