Honestly think Bama is one of the 4 top teams in country.

Of course I’m biased cause I’m a fan but trying to be honest and thinking it through I truly believe it. Even with our shite defense. Yeah yeah... bring on the downvotes. A lot of you know it’s true. Bama lost to LSU, likely the best team in the country in a shootout. Bama with Mac put 45 points on a good auburn team in Jordan Hare. So the team doesn’t require Tua to be extremely potent with the offense. Who do you truly think is better outside of the top 3 teams... Oklahoma? Georgia? Oregon? Baylor? Florida? Come on man. Bama’s schedule was weak but no team knows how good teams are going to be 6 years from now when they are scheduled. Can’t help Ole Piss, Miss State, Tenn, Arky are all down right now. Besides Tenn those other teams were playing well when this season was scheduled. I’m not saying Bama should be in the 4 spot. But they should be considered likely one of the top 4 teams.

Edited to separate the last sentence from the rest of my post. I stand by everything else but it’s true Bama doesn’t deserve to be ranked 5th. That wasn’t the point I meant to make. I think they are number 4 or 5 best team and lots of people being honest would agree. Not saying that they should be ranked that as they didn’t earn it within the system this season.

If Clemson lost a game with their pathetic schedule you would not be saying this about them.

We don't deserve to be at #5. It's ridiculous to argue we should be. You can argue we might would have beaten some of these 2-3 loss teams, but we only played 1 and we lost to them.

We played LSU tougher, beat Auburn, played Tenn tougher with no ref help unlike you. Only game you could argue you looked better in was vs USCe and we had ref help agreed.
You aren't top 4. I'd argue you may not be top 4 in the conference. LSU, FLorida, and Auburn right now are certainly better. Georgia with their injuries is probably not because no receivers makes their offense insanely limited.

If we were more disciplined, you'd probably be right.
But the lack of discipline is why you are wrong. Discipline is a relatively small aspect of the game that means a TON. And the lack of it is why Bama lost twice this year.

Actually I agree. We shouldn’t be ranked 5. It honestly does t matter what Bama is ranked. They didn’t get it done to be ranked high. My point was that I think Bama is still one of the top teams. And I think if people were being honest they’d agree that outside of the top 3 there are no teams that clearly look to be better. Not saying Bama should be ranked ahead of them.
