OK not a good start.

On the negative side:
- We looked poorly coached (mental errors)
- OL was overmatched
- DL didn't get much pressure
- Mertz needs a quicker release

On the good side:
- We have a few playmakers
- Starting center was out which screwed up the line calls
- Showed some guts to stay in the game and almost made it interesting

To be completely honest I had hoped for better, but it wasn't much worse than I thought it would be.

Possible contender.

That’s right. Will know more on Saturday afternoon.

We did what were supposed to for once which ultimately doesn't tell you much about our squad. We will know a hell of a lot more after this coming weekend.

After playing a terrible team I learned nothing other than:

-Harold Perkins needs to rush the passer.

-The secondary is and will continue to be a liability, as expected.

-Jayden Daniels needs to run some wildcat packages and Garrett Nussmeier needs to be the starter. Daniels poses no deep threat.

-BK needs to light a fire under this team's arse.

We are much better than MTSU. I don't have much more than that.

We might beat Mid Tenn State this Sat if Bama weakened them down some , but dire straits come Sept 16th. Kansas State looks pretty good.

( We don't impress me )

We have two OL coaches for no reason and Billy being OC will be Muschamp's offense/Mullen's defense aka his reason for being fired unless he adjusts.

Too soon, but I’m liking the coordinators so far. Not really a high bar to jump after the two from last year.

This Saturday will tell us all much more.

Meh. We can’t run the ball. And pass rush is average at best.

But passing game looks much better than past two years.

7-5

Hard to say. Western Carolina is Western Carolina. KJ did seem much more working through his progressions than he did in previous years. Our season thrives or dies based on how well he plays and how healthy we keep him, though our backup QB situation seems to be improved.

From what I saw during the Florida game, your QB didn’t seem to be very impressive.

But that seems to be the overarching theme for teams that exceptionally compete versus those in the valley.

Jayden is good but I’d much rather have a pure and accurate passer!

Well, apparently for LSU, it’s that they’re beta males that cum too fast.

Good:

Run game is back! Special teams was a strength and not a weakness. I like the run option with our backup QB. Very disciplined game play where we didn’t hurt ourselves.

Bad:

O-line is SUS on pass blocking. Wish our D wasn’t so aggressive that they give up screens every other possession. Rogers didn’t look comfortable for a lot of the game. Timing was off a lot so he has a lot left to do in the growth department within this system.

If Rogers figures it out we will win a few surprise games. If not we will be 5-7.

Schedule sets up very nicely with South Carolina and Florida looking to be worse off than anyone would have assumed.

Defense was the shining light

Offensive line still a question mark

Milton’s accuracy left something to be desired and wide receivers didn’t impress much.

Running game was decent, but it was against lesser quality than the conference will bring.

Special teams were quite poor

I will likely spend many more Saturdays hunting instead of watching football.
