Mac is a great QB when given the ultimate protection afforded by a great o-line.

However, he absolutely is a statue back there, and most modern QBs at least have some legs. Mac, on the other hand, walk and runs like an old man right now. Just wait til he gets smashed for a few years by 278 pound DEs...

Makes for a great debate, the one thing that held Mac back till the 2019 Iron bowl is he would go into a shell if he made mistakes. After throwing those two pick 6's vs Aubbie was the first time I saw him get over the hump with it
