Another example u don’t fit in! You can’t read

Also using the word historically means very little from a team that has little history in the SEC

Ha, I was so young at the time I have no memory of that game. No hard feelings. Talking about that game is agony for my father, though.

Do you have a new favorite NFL team now, or are you shunning the league?

I'm done with the NFL, although I hope KC continues to do well.

Ole Miss is the only place I've ever been hassled.

They act like they're part of an exclusive country club, when in fact they are a public course with plenty of tee times.

That's sensible.

It still doesn't make a bit of sense to me why both the Rams and Chargers are in LA. One of the two, sure, but the Chargers should have never left SD imo.

Mississippi's fanbase is composed of two groups: failsons from from elsewhere who couldn't get into their own states' schools, so parents send them to party school UM and the older folks with deep roots in MS who are usually from their podunk town's only "rich" family. Lots of misplaced pride between those two groups

Greed rules them and always will. Hopefully other cities will tell them to screw off when they come asking for taxpayer $ for stadiums.

In real life:
Tenn and Ole Miss
I’ve never met a pleasant Tenn fan, and OM has some extremely toxic fans.

On this webpage:
LSU - not even close. Though once again Tenn would probably be tied with Bama as a runner up.1

Dude, SCAR fans are awesome.

Watching them argue and fight
with each other approx. 6 hours after a loss fueled by enough alcohol to fill Lake Lanier is quality entertainment.

Go to a non-UGA game in CoSC wearing neutral colors and you'll have an absolute blast.

Whichever fan base I live among. When I lived in Bham, it was Bama. Now that I live in Atlanta, it’s UGA.

At least Bama fans were fairly knowledgeable and had a reason to be cocky. They also didn’t talk shite about games they lost.
We beat the crap out of UGA two years in a row and they haven’t won anything of significance in 40 years yet they still talk shite every time I wear LSU gear.

ETA: I agree with those who say LSU fans are the worst on this site, but there are a lot more of us.

In person, my experiences have generally been good with all the different groups, with obviously some shite talk near games. I've been around a lot of folks from different schools.

About the only people that ever rubbed me the wrong way have been Ole Miss fans; there seemed to be a subtle, condescending smugness from a few. Not rude or antagonistic, more like a "well yeah, you can beat us, but I'm from Ole Miss so I'm just better anyway" vibe. Almost like a Tulane vibe. I was still friends with them, but when we talked schools, there was just a little smirk on their faces.

The Vandy guy I knew sorta had that, but he wasn't smug about his team at all. He stayed an LSU fan for sports, just smiled about getting his QBA from Vandy (which is understandable).

Most of the rest were proud of their alma maters, but would enjoy going to the LSU campus and looking around- much like any of us would like to walk around UGA, Auburn, Fla, etc and see what other schools were like.

I concur. But what makes them undeniably the worst is how they act like they've ever done anything.

This! It goes for their teams, traditions and school even. They act like they are the most cruicial member of the SEC, that their traditions are beautiful sacred and amazing, and then there is the whole "Harvard of the South" shtick.

Reality: They had a few good years in the 60's and have been mainly irrelevant since that. Puttin on sundresses and bow ties to eat chicken tenders under a plastic chandelier isn't a rich tradition...it's just cringe worthy....and they are one of the worst schools academically in the conference.

But hey...yall just keep on WAOMing

Not to kick Ole Miss... but that describes two of my cousins who graduated from Ole Miss.
