You lost to Trask.

And I’ve complimented him

Would have been had he not used the ground to “catch” it. Definitely pinned it against the ground. You can see it hit and come back into his hand.

I wouldn’t call “good enough to beat our depleted secondary” and compliment. That just sounds like an excuse to me.
I agree that Kentucky got soft and stopped blitzing. But that could have been fatigue too.

Wasn’t meant as an excuse, you all whipped our tail and coached circles around us the whole last 15 minutes. He got comfortable early and that’s all he needed.

That’s fair. It’ll be interesting to see what he does for a full game versus Tennessee next week. If he doesn’t get beat out by Jones this week in practice.

I think you’ll be better with him than Franks, like we may be better with Sawyer than Wilson. Although Sawyer made more mistakes than Trask did.

Florida fans should not be feeling good this morning. The gators will drop in rankings again tomorrow. Their weak on the line of scrimmage and squeaked by Kentucky’s backup. Missouri and GA will throttle you

Eh. Mullen will have a different game plan when we face UGA. Probably a bunch of quick hits to take the O line problem out of it.
Not to mention this O line is still gelling. Bunch more games before then to have that happen. I worry more about auburn and LSU right now.

My take away is chance poore has a poor chance of ever redeeming himself

Forever, stop pouring salt on UKs wounds....not a good visual. We won but should have lost the game...take away that 76 yd run by Hammond and we had about 60 yds rushing.
And that acrobatic catch in the end zone was legit...do you football much? Marco played it as best he could against a bigger taller receiver but he made a second grab. Awesome catch. Don't say Florida was better....not true except for 4th qt.

You don’t know my history with UK fans up in Lexington. Probably one of the worst away game experiences I’ve ever had. Their fans were truly classless, and I’ve gone to WLOCP since 2000 and have gone to LSU and FSU numerous times.
frick UK fans. Sorry if this comes across as a generalization, but they were that bad. Thatguy is cool though.

No he didn’t. He wanted an avenue to whine about UK fans again.
But to answer his OP, he’s not a bad QB but I’d hold my breath about any real analysis on his ability until he faces a more experienced secondary. We may end up having to burn a redshirt or two because we’re so thin back there. And the targeting ejections didn’t help.

He seemed better than Franks in the brief exposure I had of him.

LSU's defense to me doesn't look like anythign special.
Trask being home for the next 3 weeks against Tennessee, Towson, and Auburn is huge.

Nope. It looks like theres a lotta holes in it. Wouldn't have expected LSU to give up on defense for Offense so easily.
