You “dominated” those 3 quarters because of our depleted secondary

I would have to say you are wrong. We were told by multiple Gatpr fans in the offseason that depth in the secondary was not a problem. Now, it is an excuse for a lackluster performance?

If Stoops had not played scared, and gone for FGs instead of going for it on 4th and whatever, Kentucky would have won the game. Add to that, that a RFreshman kicker missed a last minute FG and Kentucky flat out outplayed Florida.

That said, I thought Trask looked very good. I can't imagine why the QB whisperer was not starting him. But we all know Mullen is a great coach and outshines all other coaches, so I guess we all just have to believe.

He seems like he could be a good QB given time. Our coaching staff though it best to give him plenty of space to practice throws to open receivers, so I think if you can get other coaches to model what we did against him, he will be fine.

Also didn’t hurt that the refs never called holding on your blatant holds
like when your center got beaten badly with your QB in the endzone? Now either he was holding like a champ or our nose guard was allowed to wear a belt with gloves on it and your center is just a huge fan of eating arse.

Your defensive line is overhyped

Our secondary was depleted too. Henderson may be the best player on either team and he didn't even play. So that's a lame excuse. We had a safety get ejected too.

Would have been had he not used the ground to “catch” it. Definitely pinned it against the ground. You can see it hit and come back into his hand.

He controlled the ball. You should learn the rules.

How can somebody go through an entire preseason camp in the middle of Florida and still be whiter than his road jersey?

Maybe but it’s hard to be sure when our sack leader (and at the time, the SEC’s sack leader) got injured on the first play and missed the rest of the game.

Yeah, people do forget that Zuniga went down early. No update on him, but hopefully it's not a huge injury.

We suck bro Kentucky gave it too us, just like they did 2outta 4 of the previous years. We are screwed with Trask. He’s a one read QB that will throw a ton of picks.

lorida fans should not be feeling good this morning. The gators will drop in rankings again tomorrow. Their weak on the line of scrimmage and squeaked by Kentucky’s backup. Missouri and GA will throttle you

This is the correct take away from yesterday, although I have no idea how Missouri let Wyoming beat them. Maybe we will get lucky there. We have no shot against Auburn, LSU, and Georgia.

Forever was one of the two fans arguing with me that our secondary didnt have depth issues. So he actually did claim we didnt, saying me claiming we did proved I wasn't a fan.

So..eat his arse alive. Cant use it as an excuse if you claimed it isnt true.

Would have made no difference, he was getting stonewalled just like the rest of them. Kentucky owned the line of scrimmage sans a couple of missed blocking assignments. We have to recruit better in the trenches, or we will never be back.

Our DT’s are trash, we’re pretty good on the edge. Problem is if you get the ball out quick it doesn’t matter. We gotta find a push inside from somebody.

Wrong. We did not drop. So clearly we garner more respect from those that know than you do. But it's not surprise since you're a leg humper.

Zuniga is one of the best ends in football, and him going out made no difference?

Stop.

He was stonewalled on 4 straight plays before going down, do you watch football? Zuniga makes a couple plays off the edge when he’s unblocked against Georgia and people want to say he’s JJ fricking Watt. Go watch football and stop posting.

Florida's secondary had a lot of issues it seems yesterday although the pass rush up the middle wasn't very good.

I am impressed with Elam, he is going to be very good.

I think Florida will go as far as its lines take them. It seems to be down this year.

There is no doubt. If we don’t make big plays we can’t sustain drives, and we can’t get off the field on D because we have no quick pass rush. It’s gonna be along year unless they figure something out.
