Prior to Saban coming to Alabama there really wasn't much hate between LSU and Alabama. I'm sure they didn't like us much, and we didn't really care for them either, but there wasn't any actual hate there. LSU was just that team we played that had all the players with the funny names. The hatred towards us from them after 2007 seemed mostly directed at Saban himself at first, and then at Alabama more generally as a "that should have been us" kind of thing. Now that Saban is gone, the "rivalry" has cooled and will continue to do so, unless both teams return to being top 5 and the game becomes The Game again. Very similar to Florida/Tennessee.
Is this true, Mr. Astute Historian? You seem like a true genius of some type. Thanks for explaining this to everyone, because every fricking person on Planet Earth that follows college football didn't already know this and needed it explained.

Since you are a new poster, I'll tell you something. Making fun of injuries is not tolerated on SEC Rant. Watch it in the future.

That is sweet of you, Wolfhound45, to check in on Bama. I know they must be walking with a limp from all that booty kicking.

Do the LSU fans think Saturday night was from lack of talent or lack of coaching?
It really didn’t seem like an old fashion Bama -LSU game.

Shut up cuck
Simping for illiterate water heads the weekend after we get blown out by a declining team that lost to Vandy
If Bama was that hard of a game for us we are in trouble against Vandy and Florida

Yeah, I think now that Saban is gone the LSU crowd isn't as geared up about the game as normal. It's still going to be a game marked on the calendar but not what it was when Saban was our coach.
Our true rivals are Auburn and Tennessee, always has been and always will be. I get up for the LSU game, but my blood pressure goes up when we play the barn and UcheaT.
