Well if you're anywhere as accurate with this as you were with your coaching search, I'm not concerned.

Back or not he’s not in shape to play and will be a non factor if he is able to play. There’s no way after that injury he’s close to even 90%

If he plays, then he's fine. If he can't go full speed in practice, he won't play. Simple as that.

It would be cool to see him back, but I really think this is just a a tactic to throw a wrench in OSU’s game plan. We’ll see

If he's not 100% then he isn't going to be out there practicing on the scout team and risking injury just for that. If he's practicing that means he's getting 1st or 2nd team reps, which Saban absolutely would not do unless he planned on playing him. On Monday it will have been 79 days since he broke his ankle.

For reference, Terrell Owens had 122 yards in 62 snaps in a super bowl 49 days after breaking his ankle and tearing a ligament.

If he's practicing, I have to believe he's playing

If he's still practicing by Thursday I'm guessing he'll be playing.

If he practices today and then either doesn't practice or is in a black jersey my guess is it didn't go the way they hoped.

We'll see.

He's been "off" for 2.5 months not an a mission trip in the phillipines. If you don't think he started conditioning as soon as he could then you don't really follow the program and S&C staff that closely

Terrell Owens played in a super bowl 7 weeks after breaking his ankle and tearing ligaments that were surgically repaired. Had 122 yards receiving. Where did you get your medical degree?

K - I'll let Saban, Jeff Allen and Ballou/Rhea know.

I presume you mean he's behind Ja’Marr "Wah, I'm gonna quit!" Chase and...?

Not sure who else. Most mock drafts have Smith as the #2 WR in the draft, and not because Chase is "better" - pretty much just because Chase is taller.

If he does play anywhere near to capability....it's over. They can't double Smith and the Suckeyes can't gang the LOS, throw out the game plan.

And some people have no issues with the mental part of it. I didn't think about my dislocated ankle until over a month into playing again when somebody fell on it. It was the first moment I had where I legitimately started getting nervous about it breaking again, and within 20-30 minutes I forgot about it.

It's possible Waddle does, but you are talking as if it's 100% certain. His injury wasn't even a freak injury. It was pretty basic by football injury standards.

And Willy, a couple of things we do know.

ONE...LSU ain't in the playoffs.

TWO...No LSU player is winning the Heisman.

THREE..O SUCKS as a coach because had he played the Johnson kid all year at QB you might have won a couple more games.

Devonte should give half of his Heisman to Waddle. Without Waddle getting injured Devonte wouldn’t have had a chance to sniff the Heisman it would’ve been 100% Mac

I think they'd all be perfectly content sharing the Heisman with each other if that was possible - OL, Najee, Mac, Waddle, DeVonta.
