Fisher’s biggest fault is that he doesn’t play young WR’s until they learn the offense or injury. Demas has all the skills but still needs to learn how to play WR - where to line up, etc. Moose has the best hands on the team, and injuries to Chapman and Demas gave him the chance - kid is a stud. Yulkeith Brown is the next Anias - he’s lightning and excellent at fighting for the ball. True fish that for whom it is starting to click
We will be better next year at WR with a QB that can see the field

Great thread if you feel B12 competition is on same level as SECw I guess.
Pretty sure this says a lot about your football knowledge.

One in the weakest conference in college football
The other in the sec west

Always amused by the inmates in the world's second largest unwalled penitentiary, sorry Oklahoma has bigger landmass, posting their jealousy on SEC rant.

Jealous of what exactly?

The fear here is hilarious. Fisher isn't there yet and no Aggie is claiming he is but if you can't see the upward trajectory and especially the recruiting you are in denial or just jelly.
Good luck with the coaching search btw, so far looks like it is going great. In the meantime get ready for Fisher to win 3 of 4 next Saturday.

Jimbo has lost to Miss St, Arkansas, and Ole Miss this year
You really want to talk about losing with more talent?
The point, you idiot, was that herman walked into a situation where any number of relatively competent coaches could’ve taken that roster and immediately won at the same rate he did. On day 1 he was ahead of every program in that conference not named Oklahoma.

What's your point? Is it an original point? Is this a permutation of all your other posts? As far as I'm concerned Jimbo is ok.

72% win rate in the SEC versus 64% in the Big12

While nearly everybody realizes Texas has historically underperformed considering their resources the truth of the matter is A and M has pretty much the same exact resources.
I'd have to dig but I suspect OU has more football Nattys than the combined total of every Texas school.

A&M wasn’t on the same footing until Texas until recently. Last decade or so, when the school joined the SEC. Growth, separation from Texas, and investing money in facilities all played a part

Unless I’m missing something jimbo’s numbers look better right?

Love the job Jimbo is doing, and love that he’s in the head of so many Tigers. #1 or #2 class on the way. See ya Saturday!

You are a public Texas University which means you have access to that oil money as well. You are still in Texas which is a hotbed for recruiting. And the SEC hasn't always paid significantly more than everybody else. This century the SEC has owned the college football landscape but A and M history is much longer than that.

Has the trophy for that been built already?

which is why in the previous 35 meetings, since the implementation of scholarship limitsand the admitting of black student athletes in numbers (circa early 1970s),
A&M is 18-17 against them. that would likely be at LEAST 27-18 if the teams had played from 2012 til now.
A&M football program is far far ahead of where tu is now. just fact. while it will be nice to start kicking their azzes, we woulda preferred to keep their douchery out of theSEC. You all will learn soon enough if you dont now.

Yes, but historically Texas has used its influence to keep A&M down through the media. UT system gets two thirds of the PUF, and was a much larger school as well at that time. Every time A&M gained ground, the Texas media would bring them down. JS owned Texas, so NCAA investigation. RC on same path so another investigation.
Who turned in SMU? It was Texas. Leaving for the SEC was more about A&M forging its own way than anything else. At least we didn’t cow tow to Texas like OU did, and still does to this day
It is only in this last decade that the worm has turned and we are at the very least on equal footing. Going forward we will be the bigger, richer school. It will be interesting to see what the decade brings

Texas is pretty much America's favorite story this year. I don't disagree but I see no reason for me to congratulate A and M.
