Both A&M and Texas suck. This is nothing new.

Texas, for all of their donor craziness and stupidity, has higher expectations. Thanks Mack. Texas, you want to be good again? Find someone who coached or played at OU, duh.

A&M hasn't done anything relevant outside of Johnny Football's dumba** since 1998 and 1939. 8 wins is great for them. They're probably already in the process of building Jimbo a statue. It'll likely feature a Collie and a bag of cash. Weirdos.

They sucked in the Big 12, which is why it's always funny to see them talk chit about it, and still suck now.

At least we didn’t cow tow to Texas like OU did, and still does to this day

A and M left for the SEC for the money and hoping for divorce from Texas. OU left to the SEC because the networks were not willing to talk about the BIG 12 TV contract. There isn't a single argument I can think of why OU should have turned down the SEC invite. The networks crippled the Big 12. Of course OU and Texas wanted to keep the RRR and look together.

I smell fear. All these posts about how we accept mediocrity, but secretly hoping we fire Jimbo or he gets poached because everybody can see what he’s building here, recruiting has been very good and looks to continue.

Simple win/loss records don’t always tell the shape a program is in. Dabo didn’t win his first NC at Clemson until year 8 and then won another 2 years later and played for a third, sometimes it takes a bit of time to get rolling and A&M is making the investments in the program. From coaching salaries to facility improvements that were just announced again.

It’s impossible to build stability firing a coach every 3-4 years as our friends in Austin found out and lsu might be as well depending on which plan c, d, or e coach finally accepts their offer.

A and M

Clever.

You’re attached to the horns in an unnatural manner.
OU makes their decisions based on UTex’s commands.
There isn’t an honest person alive who would maintain otherwise.

By all means, please articulate a reason you feel OU should have turned down the SEC invite.

Should have?
None.

Would have?
Had the horns gone west or north, OU would’ve beseeched (besought?) the relevant parties to follow.

Always good to read a post from another inmate in the world's largest unwalled penitentiary, whose just glad that Louisianan doesn't have the land mass to take the title.

OU cannot enter the Big because they require their members to be in the AAU. The PAC isn't interested in the media market of Oklahoma which leads us back to, name one reason OU should have turned down the SEC invite.

Some fans of other schools seem to want to define how Aggies should feel.

A couple of pots meets a couple of kettles. But how did we get here? oh yeah, an and M fan caused this cooking fire.
And it is amusing that A and M is unwilling to admit they went to the SEC for money and a divorce from Texas,

Your school raised hell when they heard Texas was coming in to the SEC. Clearly, you thought you had a divorce. But that isn't a reason to for OU get a div from the RRR which generates multiple benefits.

A&M wanted a divorce from Texas. Money was always secondary
