I have to say, LSU won big with aggy being added to conference -- we got more money with all the Texas viewers they brought to the conference, while simultaneously giving us a built-in conference win every season, and allowing us to showcase our elite pedigree in TX more often so we can steal more of their recruits.
The stupid shite they do on top of that is just lagniappe.
More to the point of the thread: I don't really have a dog in the race, but I would enjoy seeing the Texas-aggy game come back. I enjoyed that game on Thanksgiving nights.

Because frick them is why.
They want the game without eating the crow. They want to make it all about “what the people deserve” when all they have to do is ASK US for the game because THEY want/need it and we would capitulate. Them treating us like a valued partner is all we ever wanted.
Just say they miss the rivalry (which is something they wouldn’t admit when we left the Big 12) and they want an exciting game on their schedule. It will be a done deal then but they have an ego the size of Texas.
If they are willing to put their hat in their hand we are there. If they want to use populist language to get the game back without admitting what shitheads they were they can go frick themselves.

When we joined the SEC they refused to play any more and blackballed all Big 12 teams from play us. About the only 2 teams in the Big 12 that have a set are Tech and OU.
Those two teams would probably schedule us.
As far as I am concerned the end of year conference game with LSU and the rest of our schedule is a huge upgrade.

Beat the living shite out of OU last time we played. But really have zero interest in scheduling games with any of the B12.
Do like the conference match up with Arky from the old SWC. That game has a lot of history and glad it is revived. They never screwed us around either.

If Texas is basing their success on being more relevant than A&M....
They have already failed.
If Herman is not successful in the next two years, they will be irrelevant for several more years.

No shite, that's why we don't. Just being better than A&M is not an accomplishment in college sports unless its equestrian. We only compare against A&M because they're an old rival and they're the mouthiest fanbase that has never seen their team accomplish something.
