Here's how much UAB will make for playing at A&M this weekend (hint: it's a lot)

The Blazers are 9-1 overall, ranked in the coaches poll and already clinched their spot in the Conference USA championship game.

They also represent the Aggies' most expensive nonconference game this season. UAB is set to earn $1.6 million for making an appearance at Kyle Field, according to a document obtained through an open records request.

That’s a lot o’ legal tender.
Some of you chuckleheads think UAB wins this one.
I’ll be disappointed if the game is close.

I think A&M wins pretty comfortably, between 14-20 points. UAB has a good defense but I don't know how they're going to score, especially if the starting QB is still hurt. What is the line?

UAB has the most sacks in the country. Kellen Mond won't know what to do.

Y'all are gonna lose to a team that didn't have a football program 2 years ago.

UAB is better than last year, but lets not forget that they got pummeled by a really bad Florida team last year.

The freshman playing now needs to work on his ball security, but he's much more of a big play/ scoring threat than the old starter. I wouldn't be surprised if the freshman keeps the job even when/if the senior returns

It would be funny to see UAB win, but it won’t happen. Talent wise there is a huge gap here.

He played very poorly against Southern Miss.

I think when he's got a little more experience he will be a fine QB for them, but right now they're better with Erdely back there (provided he is healthy).

Figured you’d visit this thread.

FTR, UAB’s SOS is #125 outta 130.
Texas A&M’s is #2 outta 130.
That can make it tough to compare stats.

Always good to hear from a Louisianan resident of the world's 2nd largest unwalled penitentiary, sorry but Oklahoma has more land mass.

$1.6 million

Way more than they would make if they were to schedule Alabama.

I think A&M wins, but I think it will be closer than anyone though it could even remotely be at the beginning of the season.

I don't think A&M rests their starters.

That’s what was said about Troy last year in Baton Rouge.

And it wasn’t untrue. After all LSU went 6-2 in the SEC in 2017. Only 2 teams had better league records.

Give Troy credit and LSU played poorly that night, but the logical pick is the more talented team.
