Eric Bannon, President of Penn State
Rodney Bennett, President of Southern Miss
Jim Clements, President of Clemson
Gordon Gee, President of West Virginia (formerly at Ohio State and Vanderbilt)
Jack Hawkins, President of Troy
John Jenkins, President of Notre Dame
Chairman Mark Keenum, President of Mississippi State
Kirk Schulz, President of Washington State (formerly at Mississippi State)
Satish Tripalki, President of SUNY Buffalo
Gerald Turner, President of SMU
Keith Whitfield, President of UNLV

The non-title competers stacked the committee and got the 12 team playoff. Chairman is the President at MSU and led the charge.

Some of these schools shouldn’t even get representation. They have gotten it right most of the time, but why the frick is someone from Troy and UNLV involved in the outcome of college football?

And, in addition to Mississippi State, I see that Clemson and Notre Dame are represented.

I don’t think I realized Buffalo was part of the SUNY system.
Random committee member.

If you think this was a Mississippi State led thing, you are nuts. Yes, Keenum was the chairman but you can bet he did it with blessings of the other SEC institutions.

This will make everyone more money or it would not be happening.

We're essentially letting the losers change rules of the game. Never a good idea.

This is actually a huge benefit to the teams at the top. That's the problem, we don't NEED to give the top teams more while giving the lower teams less.

It's like when people like you claimed the playoffs were going to prevent the SEC from blah blah blah. Yeah, that's not how this shite works.

What are they going to do when they end up with a final four of only SEC teams? Or 3 out of 4 SEC teams? Because that is what's going to happen.

You want the best 4 teams to get those slots and it shouldn't matter where they're from.

I hope they start this year with the new plan but already signed contracts will not allow.
