That is TERRIBLE, for EVERYONE involved.
Now he has to serve jail time for vehicular homicide and the family of his victims are now without a loved one.
EVERYBODY loses from drunk driving.

One of this best friends died in a car accident when he was in HS as well. Blows my mind that these athletes and other wealthy individuals don't use uber or even private drivers when they can easily afford it to avoid shite like this

Does this count as an nfl bust

Yep. I despise all of the assholes on the road texting as well. It’s the same as driving drunk, as far as I’m concerned.

Rightfully so. And honestly is too short. Selfishly took someone's life

If you're found guilty of DUI resulting in death in Nevada, you get a mandatory prison sentence of 2-20 years for each death you caused (among other penalties).

sentencing guidelines in Nevada are minimum of 2 years and max of 20 years for a DUI resulting in serious injury or death. If he was, in fact, driving under the influence, he deserves no sympathy. I will never understand how, in 2021, and especially being a rich pro athlete why someone would make such a terrible decision to drive in an impaired condition. Take and uber, pay a driver, whatever. It's very easy to avoid. When your poor, irresponsible, idiotic, and completely avoidable decision results in the death of another person, you deserve to spend time in prison
Agree he should spend time in prison. The NFL won't bat an eye to bring him back. It was a satirical post.

DUIs are one of those things..
Almost everyone has driven drunk at least once. I mean it's obviously wrong, and stupid, but I always find it a bit hypocritical when people want to pile on somebody for driving drunk just because they happened to get caught, or cause an accident.
This is unfortunate for everyone involved.

I feel the same for people that text and drive, actually just as dangerous, and they're not mind altered when they do it.

I remember seeing the story, maybe on Gameday. So ironic now. Horrible for the victim's family, and I also feel sad for a young guy who may have just thrown his life away.
I'm older and wiser now, but I have to admit there was a couple of times when I was a teenager or early 20s where I'm sure I was above the legal limit and foolishly drove. I suspect that is true for most of the people on this board.
There but for the grace of God, go I.
