I get it just fine tbh.
You obviously don't. You've already claimed that one game could ruin his heisman chances, when in reality, it's dropped him from 1st to 2nd in the odds.
Now, if he continues to lay eggs then yes, his chances will be ruined.

He's much more likely to have 125-150 yards and 1-2 TDs
I think those will be good enough numbers for the invite and maybe have a good shot at it. Watson from Clemson and Coleman from Baylor will also be n the talk.
Dak is another example where the eye test is all that matters. He has had a great year and I think the best QB in the SEC but the two losses are hurting him and being used as a reason to keep him out of the race. Against UA a big game will not be enough to garner the attention he would need unless they win as well.

yea because one game could ruin his chances. that's a very uncontroversial and obvious observation.

Kiffin has been giving Henry the rock more in the last 5 games.
This Henry is averaging over 30 carries a game.

why is it that before the game you were saying this game would solidify fournettes heisman chances but you find it hard to believe that it could also hurt his chances?

1. Had Fournette played well no one else would be in the conversation, like it was before the game.
2. I never said it didn't hurt his chances. It did because it allowed other players into the conversation.
The only way this game hurts his chances more are if he and Henry are the front runners and have very similar numbers. The voters would need something to separate the two and that game would be it.

No, it's a very kneejerk and idiotic observation. That's my entire point.

And they will remember Fournette's in every other game this season.
If he outdoes Henry's stats by 50 yards/game the last 3 games like he did the first 8 games and LSU wins out then maybe that will make the difference. But, he's behind right now. And the hogs have a decent run defense.
Ms Stat and Auburn do not. Florida could be the key because unless we lose to State or FAU you guys will be sitting at home for the SECCG.

...that is literally what is happening though which is our point and why fournette is no longer the favorite in Vegas. as low as 4th on some lists even.

says you. more objective sources and the history of heisman voting suggest otherwise though.

Neither LF7 nor Henry will win it.

I've said this more than once in this thread. Fournette has to outplay Henry for the remainder of the season, to the same degree he had going into it.
500 yards and 5+ TDs for Fournette with Henry having at least one subpar game in the final 3.
If both have great finishes the trophy is not going to Fournette.

But, he's behind right now
Henry is 6-4 and fournette is 6-3 in odds. That for a gambler is even money. Add in the fact this is the lowest LF hype could be and the highest Henry could be, I still as a gambler view LF as the favorite

Except they fricking don't
Manziel had 2 bad games.
Ingram had an equally bad game in 2009.
Cam Newton had a couple of bad games.
The list goes on and on. Hell, Henry has 1 bad and 1 very mediocre game this year.
1 game does not "ruin" Fournette's chances, period.

he's literally 4th on the list sports illustrated published today.

not in the biggest game of their seasons they didn't.

1. LF
2. Bilbo Baggins
So now Bilbo baggins has "odds" to win the heisman

I kind of agree with this. You are 100% correct on one of those as Henry will only be used like he was Saturday when necessary.

I never said they were odds is the thing.
