Definitely acceptance.

Just stirring the pot on the rant.
I haven't followed a single A&M baseball game live in at least 10 years.
I couldn't name 10 former players with a gun pointed at my head.

In theory, this would be a great accomplishment. In practice, the most talented players don't go to those schools, and it doesn't matter how good the coach is. The probability of them winning it all on coaching alone is very low.

Choosing legacy schools where it's already been done multiple times by other coaches is the tired approach IMO.

He did do something at A&M y'all had never done before.
Pre-Schloss:
A&M - 5 trips to Omaha with your best finish being 1-2 twice the other 3 were 2-n-Q
Schloss:
2 trips to Omaha in 3 seasons posting a 6-4 record with a #3 and #2 finish both of which were better than anything A&M had done previously

By your logic, every good coach should be beating on the front door @ Texas 8&4Feit. God knows they've done little to nothing in the last 80+ years in athletics

I've already explained very clearly that I don't give AF about Aggie Baseball/College Baseball
Baseball in general really.

Was he a scumbag when you hired him also? Or did he become that way in Aggieland?

What you said is what's wrong with mens college athletics in general though. Everything gravitates towards the same schools year in and year out. Fresh and exciting rarely happens.

You are correct. The only way now with NIL to make it more entertaining and competitive is to go to the NFL model and have only 32 teams or fewer. I am not advocating for that, but that might be the only way.

He's a little freaky in his off-time, and so is CDC.
You don't have to be an upstanding citizen to coach baseball. Most successful coaches are turds.

Why, as a Tennessee fan, do you hate Texans so much?
