Arkansas will never be elite at football again … just to many bigger schools around them who have richer football traditions . They have a hard time recruiting vs the rest of the big time teams .

They have 2 alumni that own NFL teams. NIL opps for Arky should be plentiful

Gus is available. Finally get your wish. Forget about him blowing a 35-7 lead at home to Baylor.

The Waltons aren’t serious Hog fans, at least most of them aren’t. They donate a lot of money to the university for academics and invest in the area from an arts perspective but they provide little support for sports.

This is why we have a billion dollar art museum and if you have been paying attention, NW Arkansas has exploded from a arts and culture perspective. Performing arts center, concert venues, somehow we have also become the bike capital of the world.. they have their vision of what the area should be and it’s changed dramatically over the past 2 decades.

To give you an idea of how insane it is here right now I bought some land for 250k, 2 years later the same lots are going for 600k and it keeps going up.

This area is not what it used to be and the people who live here do not represent what Arkansas is. Back in the day on game day almost every car would have hog flags and everything would basically shut down during the games.. today nobody gives a shite… that may be partly due to us sucking for so damn long.

I’m just glad you all fired Petrino!! Biggest mistake in my opinion!!

I would go after the Baylor coach Aranda, offer him a ton of money and see if he bites!

No thanks, Baylor isn't very good. I'd throw the bank at Jim Leonard, hire away Brian Hardline for OC, keep all defensive coaches, and pay up for a REAL Oline coach (see Iowa State's)!

We were hopeful after our moral victory at LSU. Turns out they just weren’t that good either

The bad hires began right after Hattfield was ran off, and has snowballed from there.

Pittman will be fired if he doesn't win 6 games. I see maybe 3 winnable games left based on our remaining schedule. They fuqed KJ up, shouldn't have taken him away from the RPO the oline is fracken garbage. Kennedy is a developer of $hit.

On the flip side, our D is actually respectable when we actually blitz. Oh and wooo hooo our field goal kicker did his job. I just don't see Pittman keeping his job after this season.

The Walton family has contributed roughly $500 million to the academic side of the school but other than the basketball arena 30 years ago almost nothing to athletics. The Tysons, Hunts, Jones, and several others have contributed more. The Walton involvement would be a game changer

Wasn’t the name “Gus Bus” mid summer? Don’t know if it was a troll but stranger stuff has happened.

It’s really dumb of you to think we’d be any worse than we presently are. Most have quit this coach and are ready to move on. Local media has even started lobbing grenades

Don’t know who they think they are. Pittman is about the best you can attract to that low-rent program. Be glad you still aren’t being coached by his predecessor.
