Going to Nate's tonight, actually. You can't find Cajun/creole anywhere that's substantially better. They do everything right, there. Yeah, people have their favorite places, but speaking from someone who grew up cooking with a creole grandmother, I'd put it against any place in LA.

Tunnels?
You mean traffic.

I know Houstonians that spend years in NYC that have to come back to Houston for the food. BBQ and Tex-Mex cannot be matched.

Just don't wear blue, red, or yellow

In the last three years A&M has been a better, and more successful, overall program than LSU. I hope you're okay with this.
More Heismans, more bowl wins, more top 5 finishes... what metric would magically override all of this?

I'd never survive in LA, those are my favorite colors.

Yes.

The real question is why do you care so much?
College Station is not your typical SEC campus.
I'm used to campuses with stately oaks, broad magnolias and Greek mansions next to a lake that double as a place to dump party gravy.
With that as my baseline for normal, Aggy strikes me as a little weird.
My old man now lives in San Antonio so I get down there from time to time. I appreciate that I can go to Pat O's in SA. The Riverwalk is nice. Texas has a lot of things going for it. I like a lot of the music and food. Robert Earl Keen is the bomb.
But Aggy is still gonna be Aggy. And yes, I know REK is an Aggy. He's the best thing to ever come out of that place and it's not even close.
But please quit trying to make us accept you.
Just be you and we'll tolerate you as best we can.
Just don't ask me to bake an Aggy cake or officiate your wedding though.

Naw there are tunnels to avoid the Louisiana like humidity. They still end up being above sea level, Texans figured that one out.
It is just further evidence that Dallas > Houston though.

The guys hates Houston, but he admits he can't forget the food.

I don't have to see the inside of a bulls arse to know I don't want to live there.

You haven't been to A&M if you don't think we have some great oaks all over campus.

Just park as close to the lady of Guadalupe statue in the parking lot, you can't get mugged next to a statue of Mary

I've been told it's great, never been though. When I'm in Texas I really just want some ribs and Tex-Mex.

That's a tall order. I'm not the best judge of Creole food though. I'm not too fond of all the tomato.

Ok maybe ground beef went to far but comparing brisket to pork is beyond retarded. Sorry

Lol@yall acting like we don't have great southern food here. You can get collard greens, black eyed peas, grits and fried chicken in any city in Texas. I rarely eat tex mex, only if a friend wants to go.
