UGA had Thompkins and Leslie (granted Leslie didn't really become a good player till Fox's first year.) They didn't have a lot there but they weren't on Auburn's level talent wise.

Best football coach in the country and one of the best up and coming young basketball coaches in America. Good to be Alabama fan.

Grant is a great hire, and he has proven himself not just against the West but in the SEC as a whole. The SEC has been playing some good basketball as of late and the top teams have proven themselves OOC.
Of course, Foley hired Meyer and Donovan and that brought 4 national titles, so not sure the Saban/Grant hire is quite as strong.

I'm all for playing UAB in the OOC part of the schedule but it wasn't going to happen anyway and it definitely wasn't going to happen after Davis (allegedly)tried to recruit one of our scholarship players.

Regardless, we weren't going to play UAB anyway. My opinion before all that stuff happened was we should play UAB (generally I'd still be in favor of it), the whole thing of not playing them was silly but I can see why Grant wouldn't want to bother now.

Yeah the Knox stuff was shady, Honestly I had no idea that UAB was capable to run thier own program let alone be dirty
but it didn't work out,

I am an LSU fan and I hate Bama with a passion. That being said, I recognize Coach Moore as an honorable man who has spent most of his adult life serving the University of Alabama. I don't have to like his school to acknowledge the fact that he has done a good job.

I didn't hate UAB until the Knox stuff went down. Mike Davis had no business doing that to any school, much less his alma mater. Screw UAB and Davis
