Your trash country "chart" doesn't count. Read the thread heading.

Is the US Billboard Hot 100 not the chart you're using?

Meth lab in the back and the crack smoke peels Through the streets like an early morning fog

Momma's in the slaughter house with a hatchet Helping Daddy chop early morning hog

I'm catching Zs like an early morning saw
When I woke up to the racket yawn and pause
What the frick man I can never get sleep man
Peeped out the window what's wrong with ya'll

Stood up in my Crimson Tide Alabama sweatpants and threw my pillow Looks like Daddy caught the motherfricker That tried to sneak in and steal his elbows They don't know that old man don't hold hands or throw hands Naw, he's rough like a brillo

Was mentioned in probably one of the most negative lights possible, but OK.

The background story to Moonlight Feels Right says the lyric “to make the tide rise again” was referencing Bama. So I guess they have 2.

But I can’t think of any A&M mentions (not a player) specifically in other songs of any genre.

Yeah, can't think of any. Snoop Dogg wore A&M gear in a video once and Jimmy Buffett wore a ragged out A&M jersey in one. But nothing specific about A&M or College Station.

LSU

Travis Tritt took "Girls Gone Wild" to #28 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs 2004

Lyrics in last verse:

Sally, Sue and Tam'ra, smilin' for the camera
Darla met a doctor from LSU
Ally, Ann and Amy, went a little crazy
Ridin' home sittin' on a new tattoo

The girl's gone wild, reality TV style
Just a-miles an' miles of those girls gone wild
Breakin' hearts, usin' daddy's credit card
Momma hollers, "Stop that child
Don't you know the girl's gone wild

Not a hit song, but a fairly iconic cover.

Instead of starting another thread, everyone post album covers that have a representation of their favorite college team.

For those under 30, an album was something that something called vinyl was in that played on something called a Victrola, on which something came out of called music.

That refers to Rosa Parks, not the University.

We must be the only fanbase that loves to piss on our own parade.

I mean, the reference is to the integration crisis where people got shot.

That'd be like Little Rock folks being proud of a song mentioning Central High School, only nobody got shot there. Why did you think Ole Miss was referenced in that song?

Stapleton's "Arkansas" charted, but I don't know anything about charts these days. He mentions Fayetteville, and calling the hogs.

Close enough.
