The youngest daughter is getting married this fall so most of our funds have been redirected to that. It the week after the wedding the wife and I are going to Disneyland. I’ve never been to anything Disney, she is from LA and been pushing this trip for years.

My truck was towed while I was ordering lunch. They claimed I was parked in a lot for tenants only. The fact that it happened so fast meant the d***head tow driver was just waiting for someone to park there. There were two no parking signs, one was face down on the concrete about 30’ away and the other one was facing the opposite direction so that it could not be read coming from my direction. I took photos of them and went to court. I got my $300 back.

Our Chili’s south of Fort Worth has made a complete turn around in the past year. The town as a whole avoided it and now there is a wait most likely.

We have stayed at the Hilton Hyde Park. It is right next door to the Queensway tube station. For time to chill it is across the street from Kensington Park. The park has food vendors and benches where you can literally do nothing. Walk thru the park and you are at Royal Albert Hall.

I witnessed a gate miracle on AA once. A lady was wheelchaired to the gate, the attendant helped her into a seat and left. She then got up and walked away and came back with food. On the plane she stood up to get her carryon down, put it on the floor, got in her hands and knees and then put it back up. There wasn’t a dry eye on the plane….
