All he had to do was not be crazy and he could’ve been a hero regardless of how this season goes. He and LSU decided to play chicken with the conference and involve a bunch of state politicians, and it has added an insane level of pressure. If Lane loses to Ole Miss, or worse doesn’t make the playoffs, will LSU fans go easy on him?

He couldn't do it.

He is a potential trainwreck damn near constantly.

There’s less pressure on him now.

LSU fans are firmly with him.

Well he certainly didn't have much pressure his first year at Ole Miss.

What has he done? It was the players suit. He’s can’t stop someone from suing someone else. It’s the same pressure as any other pressure. Y’all are dramatic lol

It’s his first year. He recruited a talented Ole Miss team and has to play them year one. Ole Miss will probably win but they’ll fall off the face of the earth once Chambliss and Lacy graduate. LSU is much better off in the long run than Ole Piss.

I know yall don't really think about what you say before you post. But, think about this, LSU doesn't play these guys at all and everything goes away. Next year, Lane Kiffin can walk into any living room of a recruit and say "I will fight for you. I fight for my players when no one else will." He just got the best portal haul in the portal's short history and signed more 5 stars in his first class than he ever had at Ole Miss in the time he was there. That was being on the job a couple of months. So, a coach that is excellent at evaluating and recruiting talent is about to get another advantage in recruiting and no one sees that?

What if he gets all nervous and turns into Fat Lane again?

LSU only has and will always have ONE pear. There is no duplicate. Take this shite down.

Lane's is all up top though, so it's like an inverse pear.

Almost like they compliment each other's girth.
