I think that ump just wanted to go home. I don't have any idea how in the hell you can make that safe call. Ball and tag beat the runner by a mile and he was tagged a few feet in front of the plate.

yeah that one was bad. I'm glad too. We still owe you at least one more screwjob that directly leads to an LSU victory btw. You've still got it coming.

Lol, the final score was 26-10 LSU. Even if the Tide had scored a TD there, they would have lost.
That play in no way compares to the PP7 interception IMO.
But nice try.

Nothing comes to mind that is that bad.
The worst call I've ever seen in a game period happened in an AU-Vandy game in 2001 I believe. Vandy threw a pass into the endzone and had the ball hit straight off the WR's knee and fly out of bounds, it was called a TD. I'm sure the link has been posted before on here, but not finding one atm.
And not SEC, but the Colorado 5th down game was worse as well back when they split the title with Georgie Tech.

I like how everybody posts about how their team got screwed.

I will always and forever refer to Auburn-LSU 2006 as Refgate.
There were 4+ calls in that game that directly stopped LSU offensive drives and I believe LSU only had around 10 offensive possessions in that game. Off the top of my head:
Hester catch/no-catch
PI before the half
phantom holding on lineman with a full-arm cast
end-of-game PI wave-off
and the sting was worse coming off the 2004 extra-point game in Auburn

The Irons pass interference no-call was atrocious...but so was the Hester no catch, and the "tipped ball" wave-off.
The worst SERIES of blown calls I've ever witnessed in a single game.

I'm at work so can't get to YouTube, but there is a video out there of the 5 or 6 crucial blown calls in that game...all of which were in crucial situations
i love how the announcers on a number of those calls simply said, "Yeah, Auburn got away with one there..."

This is still one of the biggest blown calls I've ever seen...
Oklahoma Oregon Onside Kick
The ref said there was "conclusive proof" that it was touched first by Oregon...which was wrong...but by FAR the biggest mistake was in awarding Oregon the recovery, when it plainly was not, COULD NOT, have been...since the ball came out of the pile and was nonchalantly picked up by and Oklahoma player.

Any Auburn fan that says LSU didn't have that game taken from them is idiotic
Sucks too because we may have been in the national title game if it weren't for that
