Where were all these lsu fans who are all about what's fair when ole Miss got in trouble for Leo Lewis saying ole Miss paid him but lsu didn't get in trouble for doing the same?

I heard Blake Ruffino was making that argument last night. That LSU is being singled out unfairly because they don’t like you.
That is beside the point I am making.
SEC league office credibility is on the line.
If the SEC is bluffing, and allows LSU to play the schedule with players that are violating SEC rules… then the SEC office is worthless.
This tells every school to ignore the SEC because their own judge can give them a TRO justifying it. Or in other cases…why would schools suspend any players in the future just because the league office said so?
That seems like a big risk for the SEC.
Every school can just take it to court. Pretty sure Alabama can find a judge who will declare Derrick Henry is eligible.
Does the SEC boycott Alabama in that case?

Surely you must be concerned that Lane & LSU's entire point here in this debacle is that it's "not fair" that Trinidad Chambliss gets to play. Surely, right?
It would feel different if any other SEC school was with Lane & LSU on this one, but they aren't. Not a single one. You would think that Kirby & UGA or Lebby & State or Sark & Texas or anyone else in the conference would have reason enough to come alongside ya'll, but they haven't. (I could be missing something here on other court cases, but it sure seems like it's LSU is on an island.)
With only a few days (
) until KICKOFF this just feels like the wrong hill to die on.

Ok. I will admit that I have not followed everything concerning these, so I am asking honest questions.
Isn't the Chambliss, Pavia etc thing concerning the 5 and five rule? And I thought the LSU concerns bringing NFL players back into college?
IF that is the case, wouldn't they be two totally different scenarios? It seems like a lot of this goes back to the Covid year. It really messed up a ton of stuff, and the NCAA probably made things worse from a legality standpoint when they tried to make things better for those affected by the Covid year.
