Bylaws have very specific verbage towards football players who have signed NFL contracts.

They have pretty specific verbiage towards those who don't comply with NCAA guidelines as well.

Cool story. I think we are comparing an apple to an orange at this point.

Looking forward to 9/19 and your SEC quality QB. Hope both your former pros play plenty as well.

LSU isn't even involved in this case.

Correct, they aren’t.

But you also said that LSU could sue the SEC down the line if LSU received punishment.

So then it is back to LSU vs. SEC…

Not really, we're comparing ineligible players to ineligible players.

Sure, but that's extreme worst case scenario IMO

Seems he doesn't like selective enforcement of conference rules.

quote:

"I think you're going to get in an interesting situation where, as a conference, you're saying 'We're going to follow this court order but these kids that got that other court order, we're going to say, 'No you can't,’” Kiffin said.

No, you aren’t. That’s too ambiguous of a statement. Apples to apples is NFL players only.

I think so also, bc I don’t see how that ends in LSU remaining happy in the SEC long term.

People are getting too hung up on why the players are ineligible instead of zooming out and looking at how the conference is selectively enforcing eligibility rules.

Ineligible is ineligible. Doesn't matter if it's because of grades or if it's for gambling.

No, you are generalize a problem no one has with one they do. It’s NFL players only.

Say, LSU is scared of Trinidad, so make him illegible too. Then he can get added to the NFL case. You think the case Thursday is about Trinidad?

Court ruled eligible players challenging a 5 year Covid eligibility rule vs professionals challenging a rule banning NFL/SEC/NCAA rule on eligibility?

I see why you live in a state of perpetual confusion.

Let me see if I can dumb this down for you. This 100% would not be happening if the SEC had kept players like Pavia and Chambliss from playing.

You always resort to calling people dumb when they don’t accept your points. You do you man.

Living in a state of perpetual confusion has more to do with stubborness than your intelligence level.
