Has one state even won 4 in a row?
I know FSU and Miami played for 5 in a row but only won two of them.

Depends how legitimate you think that "15" the Tide claims is. If I count natty's that way, I'm sure I could dig up something.

It's actually quite the opposite. Just giving Au the opportunity to ride on 3 extra at our expense.

Whatever it takes to win.

I doubt it. When AU won it in 2010, that was the first time a state had won back to back MNCs with different teams since the 30's when TCU and A&M did it.
I certainly don't think one state has done it four years in a row.

The state of Florida was more impressive during the early '90s. All three of the major programs in that state were legitimate powerhouses. Auburn is nowhere near those teams. Hell, Auburn has never even had back to back years with top 10 finishes. How the hell can you be considered a powerhouse when you can't even finish in the top 10 two years in a row?

A state is a non-sentient entity and thus is incapable of winning any sporting events. I hope that clears up your confusion.

If Auburn wins two NCs in 3 years, that is pretty damn impressive.
It's not as good as 3 out of 4 but it's pretty good.
I know the teams in the state of Florida made it to a lot of NC games in the 90s but they lost a lot of them as well.

UCLA won eight basketball national championships in a row. So California has Alabama beat in that regard.
