Why not way until Kirby wins two more and then you won't have to make this argument.

Spurrier had to deal with Florida State every season. Those UF teams make a couple more natties if they weren’t constantly running into those FSU buzzsaws

What year?

Wins two more what? National Championships? He's already won more National Championships than Spurrier. He has a higher winning percentage than Spurrier. He went undefeated, something Spurrier never did.

Two more what, exactly?

Your opinion is shite. Kirby is having success simply because he's the head coach at a school that has more 4* & 5* D1 talent within 100 miles than any other school in the Nation

Florida is the #1 state in the country for HS talent, numb nuts.

Had Spurrier coached at South Carolina, Kirby would kick his @ss 52-20 and make him quit the sport.

Spurrier did coach at South Carolina.

But let’s say smart was coaching there and spurrier was at Georgia who wins?

No way to know fersure but 98, 99, and 2000 all come to mind. UF was ranked in the top4 but lost to FSU.

Spurrier changed the game with his Fun and Gun offense. Kirby just bought players and brought nothing to the game.

A better question is why was Spurrier coaching at South Carolina at all?

He quit at Florida, he quit at Washington, and then he quit in the middle of the season at South Carolina.

Kirby > Spurrier.

Spurrier was a great coach. Smart is better. Smart would do MUCH better at South Carolina than Spurrier because Smart can recruit.

Pretty sure Steve spurriers uf championship star wise was the last team to win a natty without 50% or better blue chip talent. Not many people are out coaching spurrier turbo Kirbo included

I think you can make a legit argument that was the most intense 10 year rivalry in college football history. 13 times in a row they played where both teams were in the top 10. 6 times both were top 5 and 6 of those times the team that won went to the national title game.

Lucky UF then had a SEC championship game the next week. I think you can argue it impacted both the 92 and 99 SEC title games vs Bama.

Spurrier was a good coach but he retired in the most pussy fashion. Quit on his team.

He quit because had he finished the season he would have had a lower winning percentage then Vince Dooley. Totally classless.

Georgia Tech plays like their Air Force Academy. FSU and GT are not comparable ever.
