The 2007 touchdown dance against Florida comes to mind. Did you know that was scripted before the game? He told the players he wanted them so excited the refs would be forced to throw a penalty. Now it seems like Miami is playing with the same edge Georgia used to have. I'm just wondering if any Georgia fans have noticed this and if they think Smart is the kind of coach that can get it back?

Miami coach Mark Richt has lost control of Georgia’s edge.

This is pretty un-deniable.

They seem pretty much like "Georgia" last weekend. Very "Richt" like. Miami is just on a roll right now but they can lose at any point. If the committee would make them #1 tonight they'd probably lose to Virginia.

UGA has played with more of an edge this year than at anytime since 2007, with the possible exception of the end of the 2012 season after Shawn Williams called his teammates soft.

Since when does "playing with an edge" directly correlate with being undefeated?

I am a huge Mark Richt fan, but "edge" would probably be one of the last words I would use to describe any of his UGA teams.

"Edge" was the sole component that his teams seemed to lack.

In all fairness UGA seemed a bit stale under Ritch, but it wasn't a program in bad shape by any means.

since football became a man's sport? what a dumb arse question. name a title team that didnt. you can play with that edge and still not be undefeated but you will never play without it and reach that plateau.

Better than the "but its only 3 games" melt including an embarrassing loss to Troy.

You play in the east. You only play one real football game per year
