No. Next question.

98 was a down year for good teams

FSU and Florida of that year would probably stomp a mudhole into this year's UGA team.

They'll play one ranked team in their entire regular season. Easiest schedule ever in cfb's 100+ year history.
Damn, here I am agreeing with a Vol.

The schedule is what it is.
If UGA wins the national championship they'll play at least 4 ranked teams. Likely 5. Potentially 6.
That's 3 in the SECCG and playoff, UT in the regular season, likely Ole Miss and potentially a UK/Auburn or SC who are all in the "getting votes" category.

Tennessee was extremely fortunate to win that NC. CBB was down as a whole and they squeaked by several teams. And they haven't sniffed a championship since then. That's why they're so jaded.

Similar reasoning used by vols for 2022. Didn’t help y’all

Good talk trash. Florida fans have become way to docile recently. I guess Sunbelt Billy has that affect on a fan base.
I’ve seen 3 championships in my short life so I can laugh at us sucking rn

This is very typical of a dawg schedule.

Did any of them open up with 3 highschool teams at home though?
No. They wait until conference play for that.

I love how these post never acknowledge we were supposed to play OU but conference changes nuked that.

As far as the modern day powerhouse SEC goes, I agree I’ve never seen such an easy schedule before. I wonder if there’s ever been SEC team not play a ranked opponent once throughout a season since divisions began? UGA teetering on that line
Posted on 9/8/23 at 6:17 pm to Who_Dat_Tiger
Ole Miss will be ranked and possibly AU. Tenn will likely be 10ish or higher.

his is just a typical SEC schedule... nothing to see here folks.
Can't wait for November. That schedule will not have your players properly prepared for entering Neyland.
