Yes. George Rogers 1980. Gamecocks were 7-3 when he won it and finished 7-4.

Pretty sure Spurrier is the only coach to win the Heisman, but he actually won it when he was a player. You do know that coaches aren't eligible for the Heisman, correct?

Daniels is the best player in the country IMO. What I think is going to hurt him isn't so much the 3 losses as it is the voters watching the other guys ball out in conference championship games next Saturday while he's not playing.

Lamar Jackson won the heisman in 2016 when his team had 3 losses pre-bowl. Got their 4th loss in the bowl game but that was after the Heisman was awarded.

LSU fans are kinda cranky. It’s ok, there’s always next year…thing is, there’s not. Because you have Brian Kelly, who is always. 3 loss coach. So kiss my arse and watch them Dawgs win 3 in a row.
