apparently one of the graduating seniors said that the OL will be just as good next year. And he knows the backups well.
So yeah, I feel pretty good ...

Sidewalk - if a graduating senior who knows the team really well says there won't be a drop-off, I'm inclined to believe him. Especially given how much our OL improved in just a second year under Henson
I guess we will see in a few months

LSU’s head coach said their defense would be better in 2020 than it was in 2019. That kid isn’t gonna say anything negative about his own program.

He named the players and talked about each specifically. There is an article at the Houston Chronicle with the details. I'm not sure he's 100% right, but we don't play anyone good until the sixth week (Bama), and LSU is at the end of the year
Should have most of the kinks ironed out by then. It looks like at least 4 of the 5 positions are solid, with a ton of competition for the last spot.

Can someone tell me what I missed, why are so many saying OM will be a harder matchup than LSU? Seriously asking.
Ed Orgeron might be the reason.

Several Alabama fans not including @AU. It’s odd to me that they don’t consider that a tough game. Bama is 5-10 in JHS.

No troll, I'm not really worried about LSU next year
Really? When’s the last time A&M was in Baton Rouge & won? I feel like you’re trolling or just straight up lying lol

The only active SEC coach besides Saban to win a championship at his current school?

LSU will kick Aggies teeth in. Another blowout in BR on our way to CFP.

I know it’s a troll but I’ll participate:
Bama - no explanation required.
Florida - this game is always tough no matter what.
A&m. - Jimbo is established and earned some respect this past season. I’ll no longer chalk it up as an auto W like I would under Sumlin.

All of them, except Eastern Illinois.

Offensively, Ole Miss should be damn good again. Corral will finally have the same system for the second year in a row. Keep in mind, the kid was a sophomore last season. Loosing Moore at WR is big, but picking up Jahcour Pearson was probably one of the biggest "gets" that our staff was able to get.
I think the biggest turnaround will be on defense. We have several very good transfers that will be starting next season (Chance Campbell - Maryland, Jacob Springer - Navy) that will be an immediate boost to our LB corp. Lane and Durkin did a solid job on bringing in immediate help for our DL with some highly touted JUCO kids (Iton and Gordon). Last year, our DL was pretty pathetic. With even an average DL, that'll make a big difference. In the secondary, Otis Reese was eligible late in the year, and he made a very big difference right away. We also will have Deantre Prince back, giving the secondary a bigger boost.
All of that is not to say that we'll have some sort of elite defense - but even with an average defense to go along with our offense, then we'll be a dangerous team. At least, that's my hope anyways...lol
