I firmly believe if schedule and head to head favored SC they would be in over Bama.

I firmly believe that if South Carolina's name was spelled A-L-A-B-A-M-A, then they would be ranked 11 instead of 14.

Well done, how would against us now?. wouldn't be pretty. Plus Vandy and Oklahoma are pretty easy teams to beat.. what happened?

All you are doing is typing out a bunch of crap to claim Alabama is in over you because of bias.

And at the same time you can't name a single metric that puts USC above Alabama.

I hope you are an alter for the sake of the USC fanbase.

Do you think computer rankings and such also have a bonus given to the name Alabama? They have Alabama ranked even higher than the committee. F+ has Alabama #7 and USC #13. Ole Miss is the one that comes in higher at #5.

They need to just have the basketball guys rank the football teams. Problem solved.

The fact that they don’t have net rankings in football is fricking absurd.

12 game schedules make it very difficult to accurately rate teams. A lack of out of conference games also hurts because it creates bubbles. We need OOC games to provide links between conferences.

Even with opponent adjusted/advanced metrics there is still some bias that is given to teams who play weaker schedules because they just don't have bad data. It's worlds better than data that doesn't take opponent strength into account, but still not perfect.

By such a metric like F+, both Ole Miss(#5) and Alabama(#7) would be in. South Carolina(#13) would not be.

The key to getting in as a 3-loss team is to get BLOWN THE frick OUT late in the season by a bad, unranked team.

Take note, Shane.

The key for a 3-loss team is be named Alabama.

SC's only sound loss this season is to OleMiss. The losses to Bama and LSU are pure on SEC refs.

...and have more combined top 25 wins than Penn State, Notre Dame, Indiana, Miami, SMU and Clemson combined.

You're gonna learn Jed Clampett with all his oil money still has a smaller dick than the REC's Supreme Emperor.

The playoff committee is as fricked as a soup sandwich. UGA went out and soiled the bed linens in Oxford against a pretty good Ole Miss team who is on the bubble and dropped 9 spots in the next CFP ranking. Ohio State played a pretty bad Michigan team in Columbus and got beat and dropped 4 spots. The only rhyme and reason to it is MONEY

It doesn't matter what some goal post moving hormonal neck beard with a higher chromosome count than IQ "firmly believes".

What matters are the actual facts and this is why such decisions are left up to impartial experts rather than e-homers:

I totally agree with Beamer. I made a similar post on the rant yesterday about the risk/reward for lsu moving forward. The Clemson win did nothing for South Carolina. Had they beaten LSU and were 9-2 going into that Clemson game and lost, I guarantee you that the game would have knocked them out the playoffs. The message is clear to me by the rankings, difficult OOC games can only hurt you.

Not even close. Switch the narrative.

FEI: Bama 8 / USC 12
Head to head: Bama
Top 25 wins: Bama
SOS: Bama
Best win: Bama (#5 UGA)

Carolina had a great year their resume just isn’t as good.

That doesnt negate one of the biggest wins of the CFB season.

4 ranked wins to 3 (At the time of the game. USC, Vandy, A&M, Clemson)

4-1 SEC road record vs 2-3

Longest Winning streak in the SEC

Zero losses to a team with 8 wins or less.

2 top 15 wins (#10 A&M ) at the time of playing them vs 1 for Bama (UGA)

That is 5 right there....

SEC road record

So SEC road record trumps head to head, SOS, FEI rank and a top 5 win?

I get it. You desperately want to justify it but it’s not a conspiracy it’s just a better resume situation.

True. And you lost to Alabama (and Ole Miss)..... No matter how much you want to lobby, that fact is something you cannot escape and ultimately why South Carolina was dumped.
