I'm not making excuses.

By Auburn beating Alabama, Alabama didn't have to play Georgia twice and was able to get healthy going into the playoff. It was a blessing in disguise and it's why the 2017 Iron Bowl loss really doesn't bother me. It was necessary because Alabama was beat up and missing so much.

Correct. But most teams can't have a shitty schedule and still recieve a mulligan every year.

Alabama likely got a pass with FSU imploding and that game being set up as the top opening weekend game ever.

Alabama also got assisted by Iowa beating the hell out of Ohio State. Otherwise Ohio State is in and Bama is out.

Losing to thoroughly mediocre teams like UGa 2014-16, MSU in 2015 & 2018, TAMU in 2014 & 2016....is why we're pissed off at him.

You're right. It was standing on the sideline with a clipboard and a headset.

Not our fault. We scheduled a Florida State team for our opening game that season that was supposed to be in competition for the national championship. I mean, shite, the game was #1 vs. #3. A high-ranking match-up like that had never been seen before on opening weekend. No one saw them imploding like that.

But it worked out in the end because we ended up playing and beating two teams that finished in the Top 5 to finish out the season.

It's too bad your program hasn't been killed yet. I really wish our chancellor would change that in the coming years.

I call bullshite. You guys hyped the shite out of Hurts until last year when Tua started.

Also. Didn’t that same QB have to bail out your new QB this year in the SECCG?

I’d be fine with that. If changes are necessary, then bring them on.

You clearly have a selective memory. After losing to Clemson in the 2016-17 national championship game, the fan base became evenly split over Jalen Hurts and his ability to QB the offense. As the 2017 season progressed, support for Hurts continued to dwindle amongst the fans.

I know this because I was a member of Team Jalen to the bitter end. I was among the last of my group of friends to be converted that season. It wasn't until halftime of the national championship game that I believed a change should be made at QB.
