Which is? 2017 Iron Bowl that really didn’t matter since Auburn lost to Georgia a week
later?

I’m not going to post it over and over.

2 wins in 6 years is actually a win every 3 years.

Considering that the entire rest of the SEC combined has only 2 wins against the Tide in those same 6 years, that's not really an indictment of Gustav's performance.

Losing to thoroughly mediocre teams like UGa 2014-16, MSU in 2015 & 2018, TAMU in 2014 & 2016, and bad teams like Arky in 2015 and UTee in 2018 is why we're pissed off at him.

Gus has become one of the most polarizing figures for the AU fan base. Some wanted his arse shite canned last year, others continue to hang on to that ‘17 season. The man will always have an uphill battle at auburn, but by all means keep him forever.

Wins in 13 and 17.

Maybe he’ll win one of the next two. We’ll see.

I certainly hope shrimpboat stays at LSU a long time. O is a good recruiter but mediocre Coach that Jimbo has already asserted dominance over.

As for Gus, any Coach that shares a state with Saban has a big problem. But Gus was .500 with Sumlin and was very lucky to beat Jimbo last year. Yeah, if I was a barner I would want him gone.

AU admins have never wanted to fire Gus. That is message board gossip. It is actually the opposite. He just made a huge donation to the ATH department. Outside of Saban, he has accoumplished more than any other SEC coach.

Jimbo didn't assert shite over LSU. They won in 100th overtime after multiple questionable calls and a phantom pass interference gave them 40 more chances. Not to mention they were at home. 1 win vs LSU since expansion is not even remotely dominance... Bama Vs LSU is dominance. Bama Vs the entire conference is dominance... Not a 7 time OT win.

Kirby Smart has done as much in a shorter amount of time. He has two SEC Championship Game appearances and a national championship game appearance. That's after just three seasons.

Outside of two seasons, Malzahn has been fairly mediocre. His 28-20 conference record is very meh.

0 national titles/1 title game appearance
1 SEC title
2 SEC title game appearances

Kirby (3 years)

0 national titles/1 title game appearance
1 SEC title
2 SEC title game appearances

Kirby plays in the east. Gus is the only other coach to win the west in the playoff era.

Yes, at which point Kirby pushed his shite in and advanced while Gus went on to lose to UCF.

This Coach O is a moron stuff has to stop. He's done well at LSU. The talent and schedule set them up to win 9 at a minimum. He's not getting fired for that.

Gus is doubtful too. The defense is too talented to go less than 7-5. 7-5 will anger fans, but it won't get him fired with that contract.

Gustav was 3-2 against Sumlin.

AU has never lost in College Station.

Jimbo is 0-5 in Jordan-Hare as an opposing coach.

History is on our side. Let's see how far that gets us.

Hey, Alabama had to play Auburn a week before Georgia this past year and found a way.

It sucks but it's going to be an issue for the foreseeable future if Alabama or Auburn are going to make it to the playoff.

You didn't lose 70% of your offensive production in the game either. This thread began by using injuries as an excuse for Auburn beating bama in 2017...#irony
