I'm a double major in Finance and Accounting from LSU. Now I go day by day trying to decide what I hate more... Accounting or Finance.

It's funny that this topic has appeared once again on this board. Up here in D.C., I was in the elevator on my way up to my apartment with my Alabama hoodie on. There was a guy in the elevator with me wearing a Baylor hoodie. Without any kind of prompting from me, the guy asks me if I attended Alabama. I told him I did and then he asked me when I graduated. I told him the year and then asked him if he was a Baylor graduate - which he was.
I couldn't shake the feeling that this guy assumed that living in D.C. I was a bandwagoner. And if I was...who the hell cares? I guess I'm not as triggered by bandwagon fans as some other people are.

I’ve never really understood this “insult.” You guys are so popular that you have fans who didn’t attend the University!?! Um, okay.
And my Mawmaw was the best and truest Alabama fan you’d ever meet. And no, growing up dirt poor in the Depression, she didn’t have an opportunity to attend college. But it was hard work from people like her and my parents that gave me the opportunity to do so. But I guess I should have told her she wasn’t a real fan. She would have whipped my arse, I’ll tell you that. R.I.P.
As noted in my bio, I’m a proud sidewalk alum. RTR to all my fellow Alabama fans.

BS in Civil Engineering in 2010. Also have a ticket stub of 189 of the 190 games I've been to since 1992. Only one I don't have is from the South Carolina game this year because my stub disintegrated in my pocket.

I never have understood the people triggered by bandwagon or sidewalk fans. I guess they think that if those people were not Alabama fans they would be fans of their team.
Alabama is a very successful football team and we are proud to have them. I guess by their logic you can not own anything from Microsoft unless you worked there.
I am a graduate of Alabama (also Vanderbilt and Florida), but I have never asked or thought to ask if the Alabama fan by me graduated from Alabama. I have had a few tell me, graduate or fan, but it does not matter.

I can post pics of kicking LSU's arse while a gump athlete. With that said, 0 fricks given if our fans attended school or not. Not sure why it's such an important issue to you

so what you are saying is all LSU fans are alums of LSU? I know of several huge LSU fans who live in Alabama that never graced the doors of LSU to go to school.

I was in Baton Rouge for 29-0 last year and I can guarantee you less than 50% of the coonasses I saw in Tigah Stadium were LSU grads.
