“Y’all need to give it up. Yes Alabama will get some good players but a drop off after Saban is happening so accept it.”

I don’t know, he’s doing pretty damn good it looks like.

It’s because Saban is still doing the recruiting.

Deboer will do more his talent than Saban did. Far better field coach.

He seems like a nice person, but I think he is fired after year 3 in Bama.

Ha. He beat your team the last 2 years with a Washington roster

Apparently I already reminded the dummy about that. It was such a goofy comment, though, he deserved to read it twice

No, just the truth.
We’ll see what happens when Saban finally takes the teet out of his mouth.

right now Bama is sitting in a great spot. They were missing recruits at the top end of their class, but added them in June and July so far. They look like they'll equal last year's class if not exceed it.

Those who want him to fail in the recruiting angle better hope for a bad season for Bama to cause some of their commits to go elsewhere.

Missing 5 stars in the spring? A brand new staff and over 20 recruits in June. Coach Saban never collected this star power so early in the recruiting cycle. Coach DeBoer is about to break some more hearts in a few weeks.

Saban rarely recruited a lot of PLAYERS this early in the recruiting cycle. Usually his overall number was low but his percentage of 5-stars was high.

At the beginning of June, Deboer was the opposite. Bama had a very large number of players but very few (1 or 0) 5-stars. His average player rating was around 6th or 7th.

In June and July he's added a bunch of high 4-star and 5-star recruits. Now he has both high overall numbers (21 commits) and a very high average player rating (1st in the nation).

Deboer is doing it different than Saban. Saban always had low numbers with high quality early, then added numbers later in the process (though still pretty dang high quality).

Deboer starting with high numbers and "meh" quality. He then added elite quality to get to have more overall numbers and the same sort of average quality than Saban had at this point most seasons.

Does it mean he'll continue rolling? No. But he's very unlikely to finish outside the top 3 classes barring decommits even if he doesn't because he's ALREADY landed commitments from a large number of players. the class he's got committed now would have finished 3rd last season (behing UGA and last year's Bama). That's with adding NOBODY.

As I said, Bama is in VERY good shape in the recruiting front.

DeBoer just will not stop trying to fool people into thinking he's a good recruiter by successfully recruiting all these 5 star prospects!

5 Star OT Ty Haywood commits to Alabama
