Now do opponent adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency rankings.

Should be a very fun next month of CFB. I guess the sport hasn't quite died, yet

Competition matters. LSU has played two teams from Louisiana and zero teams who are currently ranked.

Also, IT'S BEEN 4 frickING GAMES. What are we doing here?

Looking forward to hosting an elite program in Lexington.

If you're coming in town, travel safe, and try to get in early to take in the scenery. Get in on some bourbon tours, and/or visit Keeneland.

Look forward to meeting fans at the tailgate. The Bama fans were great overall, and we shared beers with quite a few before kickoff.

This.

7 games per team (or roughly 500–600 individual offensive/defensive plays) is the appropriate sample size to make efficiency rankings valid enough to be statistically reliable according to my expert Google advisor.

Well hell yeah… I look forward to revisiting this after game seven then. We have Kentucky and Mississippi State.

Why don’t you just cry about it a little bit more. Heads in the sand if you don’t think the stats are impressive. But whatever makes you sleep better at night!

Honestly, nobody’s schedule is better or worse than ours. So yes, the stats are impressive. Whether anybody wants to recognize that or not.

What about these stats?

“Trinidad Chambliss led Ole Miss to a 32-24 victory over LSU on September 19, 2026, completing 33 of 48 passes for 363 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while adding a 14-yard rushing touchdown”

Where do those rank?

I’ll let yall have your fun with it and it’s cool to see backups play and do well, no matter who they’re playing.
Also, for what it’s worth, I think LSU has a lot of talent, it’s just seeing how they are developed especially vs. SEC opponents as the season progresses that will be the most telling, so I think the UK game will be a good barometer for that.

…but let’s also be honest, I know if any Bama fans dared to puff out our chests over a McNeese State victory everyone on here would absolutely annihilate us over that. If Bama and LSU had swapped schedules/records I think yall would also be hyped about being 5-0 and beating Kamario Taylor, so I don’t get the ones on here trying to praise LSU over McNeese State and then write off and denigrate Alabama in the next breath. Both fanbases have a lot to be happy about right now, tbh.

Oh you act as if bama fans haven't puffed out their chest over beating a far lesser OOC opponent. BUT my issue is everyone likes to blast LSU for playing a McNeese State, when they've all played a team that's very similar.

Anyway, it is what it is and i'm pissed like Blake Baker is, that your backup defensive guys gave up two TDs.

This is such an odd flex when you’ve played Louisiana Tech and McNeese.
LSU used to talk about 2019.

And we STILL have the #1 D, even with that one performance. The rest of you must suck balls ;-)
