Guess: How many for and against? 6-8

I doubt this prospect even reaches a vote. Texas has not been humbled enough yet to do what would be needed. That BS of announcing exploratory talks during A$Ms turn at the podium, and other stupid gotcha tricks, show their colors.
Okie has gone out of their way to throw insults at the SEC recently from both coach and admin. BUT….
Assuming the question of UT and OU comes to a vote, what is your guess of split?
I say 6 for, 8 against. For: KY, Vandy, USCe, Ala, Aub, Tenn. everyone else thumbs down.

I have to think these are solid NO Votes:
A&M
Mizzou
Arkansas
Florida

Mizzou
Arkansas
Florida

I bet Arkansas and Florida are yes’s

I honestly think Arkansas would be a yes at this point to put a check on A&M. We clearly screwed up by voting yes on A&M so why not screw them now too.

I dont know shite but we're hearing that the money on the table is redonk and Aggy is leaking this in a desperate attempt to keep us out cause the votes to accept us are there

Each school makes about $10 million extra per year..
I’m not sure why Missouri would be a no, but it has been reported that way..
12-2 YES (A&M & Missouri)

Do you have any realistic idea how Texas people come across? Or how many schools you have pizzed off through the years? And not just in the SEC, but nationwide…
To believe Texas has 12 votes… and along with that declaration, wave your hand and airily dismiss MO grievance… well… Texas may have a tough row to hoe to get into ANY conference, much less the SEC.

Nobody likes or wants Texas, but the truth is these super conferences are inevitably going to happen. With that said, it only makes sense to take them.

A&M is who leaked the story to the Houston Chronicle, midwit.
This has never happened. Stop being such a snowflake puss.

$10-15M more per year and you still dont like us? Plus we make the Aggy dipshits irrelevant within a few years and shut them up with their delusional cultish BS?
C'mon, man. Give us a chance

that should tell you something

I just can't see it happening. Though t may be the end of my relationship if the GF and I have to play each other every year.
I think aTm is the only hard no. Hell, Arky is playing UT this year.

Haha you couldn’t do that in the Big 12.

being reported that OU and Texas are notifying the Big12 they wont renew media rights. ESPN also owns LHN so can easily absorb and rebrand it into the SEC network
feels like it is happening

I genuinely think with the current landscape that this will kill the Ags recruiting. Bama, LSU and Georgia will still come in to get top end recruits from Texas and the Ags will still get a few here or there but this will elevate Texas to take the kids that the Ags were getting cause "SEC". So yeah, I do think this knocks TAMU down significantly.
Be interesting to see if Jimbo sticks if this happens

Texans IN PERSON are pretty good folks, aggies included.. but that doesn’t always come across on message boards.. so we come off as confident smug assh0les who think that our sh1t doesn’t stink..
Looks like we will fit right in! :)
I get that Aggy vote. But I really don’t understand the Missouri one.. They would 100% have left for the Big 10 if ever offered, maybe even still today.
Our record against all those schools that left is pretty interesting though..
vs A&M 76-37-5
vs Arkansas 56-22
vs Missouri 18-6
Total 150-65-5
So I can definitely understand WHY they have a problem with us..

Exactly. Texas is living off their name alone right now.
