He didn't struggle in the NFL. Seahawks just wanted to run the ball more from what I've read.

Makes sense.

DeBoer/Grubb have a history of being very pass heavy, that was some of the issue with Milroe this season IMO.

Sheridan did not get a raw deal at all. Look at his resume. Unbelievable he was ever the OC for the gumps to begin with

The only other time he was a OC he got fired from the powerhouse that is Indiana football

Poor Bama has to go through DeBoner’s impressive rolodex of coaching assistants he found in his years at high level programs… Sioux Falls, Southern Illinois, Eastern Michigan

Elite coaching talent.

2024 for Bama was just an absolute disaster from bad decisions that Saban left sitting in Deboer's lap. 2024 was a season needed purge the program of the Saban turd soup. Few willl admit it, but its true. I hope Deboer competes the job and runs off all the left over cancer players.

Again. Nick Sheridan didn't get fired. Just not calling plays anymore. Demoted maybe but not fired

Rough year for Grubb. He didn’t want to move to Alabama for obvious reasons, gets fired from his job, and now he has to move to Alabama for work.

Yeah, Bama's just a dead end place isn't it.. Kind of reminds me of Steve Sarkisian
-----OC at Bama and in NC game that year --- goes to the Falcons, fired ----then back to Alabama ,coached quarterbacks Mac Jones and
, Tua Tagovailoa , won the Broyles Award , then to Texas as head coach and
multi-million-dollar contract.

Deboner didn't have the balls to even bench Milroe for one series in the Oklahoma and Michagan debacles.

Grubb was easily the best OC in CFB before he left for Seattle. Look at what he did scheme wise with UW and it’s obvious to anyone objective how talented he is.

You can rationalize it however you want, but this is an absolute HR hire.

Bama needs a QB, but this is a step in the right direction for DeBoer.

Coach Saban still lives there. I realize it’s not the culture de fantaisie like Baton Rouge but it’s not that bad.

Seems like a bit of a cope to say that Saban left Deboer a mess.

This is an absolute laughable take, brother.

KD inherited a top 3 roster. A roster that, the year before, was one play away from making it to the National Championship game. A roster left with players that were developed by Nick Saban...for years.

9-4 is on KD.

Noticed you had to name a team that wasn’t your own.
