-Alabama goose eggs LSU in BR 10-0.
-Tom Herman rejects the LSU job and accepts the Texas job
-Jimbo Fisher rejects the LSU job and stays at FSU
-2 days after thanksgiving Ed O named head coach.
Tiger Rant goes insane.

Not tRANT but Shaggy Bevo when the 'sips thought Saban was in the bag. There was just no way Lil ole Alabama could out bid the cigar chomping oil men of Texas.
They ended up with an SJW hire to placate the Austin libs, or, they actually thought Strong was a great coach, or UT is a career killer that a really good established coach wouldn't touch with a 10' pole. Take your pick.

I’m not going to lie most of the fun of this board is watching LSU fans melt. Nobody does it better and when some of them melt it is outright hilarious. Nobodies melts are as funny as LSU fans.

I don't know how the Landon Collins melt hasn't been mentioned once.
That was the first "superstar" Saban pulled out of there, and while there was some quiet confidence on the Alabama side, most people projected him to LSU, so it was a shock when he committed to Alabama on live television. He was a top 10 overall player in that class. Some folks went into a fit of rage over that one.
obviously the 1/9 melt, yeldon game, and OT win in '14 were great melts; but 2015 was probably my favorite. LSU was undefeated, ranked second, and spent a month telling us how bad Fournette was going to break one off in Alabama. Then they came to tuscaloosa and absolutely got their eyes beat out, and Henry took the Heisman from Fournette in the process. It was just a series of gut punches coming one after another

dawg4life was so drunk that he has no clue what he did to get banned. He posts on another forum and said that he is back here under some other handle. If I ever get banned I at least want to remember how I accomplished it.

CanesInsight melts 24/7, but the best, the absolute creme of the melt crop was when Marco Wilson committed to UF. They came absolutely unglued. I remember reading that thread with tears streaming down my face from laughter.
I've read more hilarious melts on VolNation than I can count, but they've bottomed out so much the last few years that they can't even get worked up enough to be entertaining anymore.
Specific to the SEC Rant, ATPB and LSU-Troy are the two biggest I've seen.

I remember the 2 LSU idiots who went nuts for 2 weeks this season because they thought Devin White would’ve made a difference vs Bama.
When he came in in the 2nd half, it was quickly proven he was nothing but another B Class player Bama was going to take to the woodshed.
Here’s how the SEC works for high school kids. Kids grow up dreaming of playing for Alabama & Nick Saban. He takes the 25 kids he wants, then the rest settle for LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, etc, and get their arse whipped by Bama all 4 years.
